One machine.
Every format.
The U60 gives you access to every single Peleman cover — turning printed pages into a real hardcover book in 90 seconds. One machine binds every Peleman cover: hardcover, softcover, linen, clear, custom-printed. No warmup. No reconfiguration. No comb, no wire.
Ninety seconds is faster than reading about it.
One U60 unlocks every Peleman cover.
Every cover below uses the same U-shaped steel spine. The U60 binds all of them — no reconfiguration, no swap-out, no settings. Pick the finish your output deserves; the machine doesn't care.
Get the machine and your first run of covers together.
The U60 alone is $220. Most buyers grab a starter pack of covers at the same time so they can bind the day it arrives.

Print. Insert. Bind. Ninety seconds.
The U60 is the simplest binding machine ever made: no warmup, no on/off switch, no settings. Plug it in. The cover triggers the bind. You hand over a real book.
Print your document on any printer. Letter, tabloid, 5×7, 4×6 — any sheet count up to 80.
Insert
Drop your stack into a Peleman cover. The U-shaped steel spine is pre-loaded with thermal resin.
Bind
Place it on the U60. The magnetic cover triggers the cycle. 90 seconds later — a finished book.
The spine is inside the book.
The U60 doesn't crimp, sew, or staple. It bonds a U-shaped steel channel — pre-loaded with thermal resin — directly into the cover. Ninety seconds of heat melts the resin around your printed sheets and re-solidifies them as a single, permanent block.
The result feels like a real book because, structurally, it is one. It's also why every Peleman cover is compatible with the same machine — the spine is the standard, and the U60 is the only thing that closes it.
-
Permanent steel-channel bondNo comb, no wire, no glue strip to peel apart.
-

-

The honest comparison.
GBC and Fellowes make capable comb & wire binders. They make documents look bound. The U60 makes books. Those are different categories of finished product — and most buyers don't realize the second one is available at this price.
Comparison reflects standard GBC and Fellowes thermal/comb/wire binders. Specific SKUs vary.
Everything you'd want on a spec sheet, nothing you wouldn't.
One-page specs because there's nothing to manage. No buttons to learn. No settings to dial in. The magnetic cover is the entire user interface.
Everything you'd ask before a $220 decision.
The short answers most buyers ask in the first five minutes. If yours isn't here, we read every email.
Does the U60 really not need warmup?
Correct. There's no on/off switch and no warmup period. Plug it in, place a Peleman cover on the platform, and the magnetic switch starts the 90-second cycle automatically.
What's the difference between U60 and GBC / Fellowes binders?
GBC and Fellowes machines produce comb-bound and wire-bound documents — functional, but they don't look like books. Even their thermal binding options give you very limited types of covers that can be used. The U60 produces actual bound books (hardcover, softcover, linen) using a U-shaped steel spine bonded into the document. It's a different category of finished product.
Do I need different covers for different output formats?
yes and all covers come ready to use. You can choose from many sizes and types and all come with the U spine ready to activate the machine
How many books per hour can I bind?
Each cycle is 90 seconds, so realistically 30–35 books per hour with a steady operator. There's no cool-down between cycles.
What sheet sizes work with the U60?
The U60 binds 4×6, 5×7, letter (8.5×11), and tabloid (11×17) with the matching Peleman cover for each size. Maximum capacity is 80 sheets per book.
What's the warranty?
1 year manufacturer warranty from Peleman USA on every U60. If anything goes wrong, we handle it stateside — no shipping the machine to Europe.
Is shipping really free?
Yes, free US shipping on the U60 and on bundle orders. Most orders ship same week from our US facility.
Can I get fully branded covers for my business?
Yes. The Full-Color Custom cover line is made to order with edge-to-edge printing and lamination, ~2-week lead time, MOQ of 10. Same hardcover construction as our stock Hard Covers.
How is this different from probinding.com?
Peleman is the original manufacturer. probinding.com is a reseller. The cover ecosystem, the machine, the warranty, and the US support all come from the same source when you buy from pelemanusa.com.
