There is no punching, no coils, no wire and no alignment to get wrong, which is what makes it approachable if you have never bound a book before. It works with every cover in the Peleman range, so the same machine handles a stack of clear flex covers for everyday documents and a case-made hardcover for a photo album you intend to keep.
