E-Commerce Data Analyst

Location: 11810 Wills Road, Alpharetta, GA 30009 (Fulton County)
Salary: $88,100 – $89,100 per year

Duties

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, and other relevant online marketplaces.
  • Manage product listings, pricing strategies, and inventory tracking to ensure accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to platform functionality, payment processing, and order fulfillment.
  • Analyze e-commerce sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and return on ad spend (ROAS).
  • Generate reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.
  • Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to optimize product listings and marketing campaigns.
  • Build automated data pipelines for integrating and visualizing sales and marketing metrics from multiple marketplaces in the future when needed.
  • Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio) to present trends, insights, and forecasting models.
  • Apply statistical and predictive modeling techniques to forecast demand, identify top-performing products, and optimize ad spend allocation.
  • Work with large datasets using SQL, Python, or Google Sheets to clean, analyze, and interpret data efficiently.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to measure ROI and customer segmentation effectiveness using advanced data analysis techniques.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate AI-driven automation into reporting, pricing, and customer service workflows.
  • Contribute to the development of LLM-powered chatbots and AI assistants to improve customer experience and streamline internal operations.
  • Leverage machine learning models for sales forecasting, customer behavior prediction, and recommendation systems.
  • Research and implement emerging AI tools that enhance productivity, personalization, and decision-making in e-commerce.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for digital transformation through AI, data analytics, and process automation.
  • Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, and social media promotions and messages marketing.
  • Collaborate with sales and graphic design teams to enhance product content, optimize website usability, and improve customer engagement.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing strategies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Recommend data-driven strategies to enhance customer experience, optimize pricing, and improve online sales performance.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline operations and reporting.
  • Stay informed on e-commerce industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field and 3 years of experience working with e-commerce platforms and / or online retail platforms to include WalMart, Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, and others.

Experience must include three (3) years of experience with the following:

  • Data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools such as Google Analytics, Excel, or BI platforms.
  • Digital marketing principles, including SEO, PPC advertising, and social media marketing.
  • E-commerce analytics and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions.

5% travel required to Belgium headquarters.
